Emergency Aid Department:
Provides assistance with food, clothing, rental, utility, electricity, transportation, and assistance to victims of a Natural Disaster and Fire.
Rural Outreach Department:
Provides services to Rural Communities in 12 Counties.
Representative Payee Program:
Assumes the financial management responsibilities for people who, because of certain limitations, are unable to manager their own finances.
Immigration and Refugee Services:
Assists in, but is not limited to, the preparation of family petitions to establish legal permanent resident status, employment permits, naturalization, citizenship and some legal appeals.
Ministry and Life Enrichment for the Disabled:
Provides area wide educational, spiritual, and recreational programs for the hearing impaired, the deaf, vision impaired, the blind, mentally challenged, and those with other disabilities.
Family & Individual Counseling:
Provides help for a variety of problems such as: troubled marriages, parenting difficulties, and abuse trauma.
HUD Approved Housing Counseling Department:
Provides foreclosure prevention counseling, Credit Counseling, Pre-Occupancy and Post-Occupancy Counseling, Renters Counseling, Fair Housing, Homebuyer Education Workshops, Financial Literacy Workshops, Budget and Money Management Counseling, Colonias, and Displacement and Relocation Counseling.
Family Self-Sufficiency Counseling:
A voluntary program developed for individuals and families who with to improve their financial situation, eliminate dependency, and are motivated to change their lives.
First Call Department:
Links churches of all denominations, faith-based and non-profit organizations throughout our 12 County area to provide for the unmet needs of people and communities.
Community Wellness and Education Outreach:
Our Healthy Living and Advocacy Center has a Diabetes Intervention and Prevention Program that is community- based and serves Nueces County. The program offers pathways and resources for good nutrition, physical fitness, and better management of one's health and well-being.
This program works by enrolling children in Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
